On Wednesday, the 23rd volume of the Bungo Stray Dogs manga by Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa and the 10th volume of Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan!, its spin-off, were both released. Over 12 million copies of the series were in circulation. The editorial divisions of KADOKAWA's Shone Young Ace and Young Ace magazines launched a joint official TikTok account on that day. There will be special videos on Bungo Stray Dogs posted, and one is already there.
Since December 2012, Kafka Asagiri has been penning the Bungo Stray Dogs manga with illustrations by Sango Harukawa for publication in KADOKAWA's monthly Young Ace magazine. On the company's manga website Young Ace Up, Neco Kanai's spin-off Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! is still running. The Bungo Stray Dogs TV anime was animated by Studio BONES; the first season ran from April to June 2016, the second from October to December 2016, and the third from April to June 2019. On January 4, 2023, the fourth season is set to premiere on television. In March 2018, Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, a movie adaption, had its Japanese premiere. Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! anime, co-animated by studio NOMAD, broadcast from January to March 2021.

The 22nd volume of Bungo Stray Dogs is slated for release on January 17, 2023, while the 4th volume of Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! is slated for release on February 21, 2023.
