During the pre-recorded special programme for NieR:Automata Ver1.1a, which was aired on YouTube on Wednesday, a new teaser and details regarding the opening and closing theme songs were disclosed. Yui Ishikawa (2B), Natsuki Hanae (9S), Kaoru Akiyama (Pod 153), Yosuke Saito (Producer at Square Enix), and Shota Fuji were among the cast members and producers present (A-1 Pictures producer). Due to production concerns, the stream was originally scheduled to air on December 11 but was delayed. Yoko Taro's game is being animated by Studio A-1 Pictures. Last weekend, the anime debuted a brand-new trailer and announced its January 7 premiere date.
The opening theme song, "escalate," is sung by Aimer, while the closing theme song, "Antinomy," is sung by Amazarashi. The new NieR:Automata Ver1.1a trailer has the opening and closing songs:
