Danmachi Light Novel Reveals Volume 18 Cover, Great Tale: Argonaut To Get a Novel

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon by Fujino Omori? The spin-off Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon and the upcoming 18th volume of the (Danmachi) light novel have both unveiled cover art. Sword Oratoria is a side practise. The 18th volume of Danmachi will be released on January 14, 2023. A special edition of the book will include a booklet of episodes that weren't included in the main plot. The thirteenth instalment of the Sword Oratoria novel will be released on February 15, 2023.

The releases are a part of ten initiatives to mark the series' tenth anniversary, and since October 2022, new volumes, including spin-off novels, have been released every six months:

• November 2022: Astraea Record Volume 2
• December 2022: Astraea Record Volume 3
• January 2023: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Volume 18
• February 2023: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side: Sword Oratoria Volume 13

Additionally, it was revealed that Great Tale: Argonaut, the scenario of the second-anniversary event in the DanMachi - MEMORIA FREESE - game, will be revised by the author and released under GA Bunko in 2023. The Danmachi light novel, illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, and the Sword Oratoria spin-off, illustrated by Kiyotaka Haimura, were both written by Fujino Omori. Since January 2013 and January 2014, respectively, SB Creative has been releasing them under its light novel imprint GA Bunko. J.C.STAFF studio has produced TV anime versions of both of the novels: From April to June 2015, the first season aired; from July to September 2019, the second; and from October to December 2020, the third. The fourth season is broken up into two cours, with the second cours set to premiere in January 2023. The first cours broadcast from July to October 2022. The Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? From April through July of 2017, the anime Sword Oratoria was broadcast.
