Manga for Hunter x Hunter won't be released every week anymore

Due to Yoshihiro Togashi's health, the Hunter x Hunter manga will no longer be released monthly, the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine said today. For almost two years, Togashi has been unable "to sit" because of chronic back discomfort. The 400th chapter, "Secrecy," which is now available on MangaPLUS, will be published in the magazine. Information regarding the new publication format will be released soon. Tomorrow, the manga will release a special trailer for Nen users:

Yoshihiro Togashi started a Twitter account earlier this year, and since then, he has been updating followers on both his daily activities and the progress of his drawings. According to his most recent post, chapter 400 has been finished. He claimed he is considering ways to continue without upsetting others when asked about his choice to quit serialising each week. He'll keep penning the narrative.

The serialisation of Hunter x Hunter in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump started in 1998. The break began in November of last year. In recent years, Togashi has experienced health problems relating to back discomfort; in order to prevent harm, he even produced illustrations to show how to pick up objects correctly after you drop them. As a result, the manga frequently took breaks.
