The Eminence in Shadow's Episode 13 promo pictures and trailers are now available. On December 28, 2022, Episode 13 will air. It will feature Cid, Aurora, and Olivier's progress as well as the conflict between Delta and Archbishop Nelson. The trailers are available to view below:

Since October 5, 2022, 12 episodes of The Eminence in Shadow have been available for streaming on HIDIVE. Kazuya Nakanishi is the show's director, and Studio Nexus is in charge of the animation. The second season of the anime will air this winter. Additionally, see below for a teaser of an upcoming episode:







▍About The Eminence In Shadow

The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) light novel series by Daisuke Aizawa served as the inspiration for the anime. The novel is being published by Enterbrain, and there are presently 4 volumes available. You may read the Yen Press summary of the second volume, which the anime is currently adapting, below:

Cid pays a visit to the Sacred Land, where he finds himself getting roped into the Goddess’s Trial. It’s a ritual event that summons warriors from the past to engage with only the most worthy from the present. When Cid squares off against the witch who brought devastation to the world, the door to the Sanctuary creaks open, granting the Shadow Garden valuable insight into the possessed and the Cult of Diablos. That is until Cid, blissfully ignorant of the conspiracies playing out behind the scenes, runs amok!
