Restart for the Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun Anime
Toilet-Bound Hankako-Kun / Jibaku Shounen Hanako-anime Kun's adaptation is formally getting a restart/reboot after starting its original run on January 9 of 2020.
A new teaser and key image for the anime, which was announced today on the show's official YouTube and Twitter accounts, show Hanako-Kun speaking to Yashiro before the two exchange greetings once more and Hanako-Kun saying "I'm back."
In the unique trailer, Megumi Ogata and Akari Kito can be heard. The two provided the voices for Hanako and Nene in the TV anime's first season, which was animated by Lerche. The first season contained 12 episodes when it debuted in 2020, however several elements from the original were omitted. It was directed by Masaomi Ando. The series also hinted at a musical for 2020.

▍ About Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun
Toilet-Bound An ongoing Japanese manga series called Hanako-Kun explores the paranormal and the well-known "seven wonders" rumours that went around high schools. The series centres around the titular Hanako-Kun / Hanako-San, a ghost who is rumoured to haunt Japanese school restrooms.

Enter the girls' bathroom, knock three times, and ask if "Hanako-Kun is present" to call Hanako-Kun. When Yashiro Nene calls the spirit in the anime series and discovers he's not the urban legend, she understands she got what she bargained for! The two become great friends, and Hanako-Kun assists her in exterminating spirits and eradicating the falsifying myths about spirits in order to restore harmony between the worlds of spirits and humans.
