On Monday, Uncle from Another World anime series revealed that the last episode, number 13, would be postponed because of production problems brought on by the recent coronavirus pandemic in China. On December 29, the episode was supposed to air. The anime first aired in July 2022, but the epidemic in Japan caused the broadcast to be delayed after the seventh episode. It made a comeback in November 2022. The adaptation is being animated by Atelier Pontdarc.
The statement claims that certain steps of the animation process were contracted out to pandemic-affected Chinese animation studios. The creation of the sorted content was delayed as a result. The anime production committee chose to delay the broadcast and stream of episode 13 to maintain quality because it is impossible to predict the timetable for this year. Once it is decided, the episode's schedule will be revealed on the official website and on Twitter.
